Bartek Construction Ltd. (BCL) is a full service construction company with over 20 years of professional experience. BCL was founded in March 2010, by Bartek Farafoszyn who saw an opportunity to create a company that could effectively provide quality, service, and innovation for its’ clients.

Our Team
Bartek was born in Calgary, Alberta and began in the construction industry when he was barely old enough to hold a hammer! He has a few years of experience to say the least. Bartek moved to Vancouver and started BCL in March 2010 and has never looked back. Bartek enjoys spending time with his family and playing with his many toys!
Katie joined BCL as General Manager after working successfully for 10 years in Business Development and Real Estate. Katie lives in Langley with her husband their son, two daughters, and dog. Katie enjoys running, spending time with her family and giving back to her local community.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, John started his career in construction renovating heritage homes in Victoria, BC. In 2012 he made the move to Vancouver, where he has been completing a Bachelors in Construction Management at BCIT. While not working, he enjoys the outdoors, exploring the city, and spending time with friends and family.

Tom is the founder of TX-7 Design who brings over 10 years of international experience to his practice. He studied architecture in China and worked on projects ranging from residential and commercial to educational and urban design. Tom brings an integral understanding of BIM technology and its applications to his work at Bartek Construction. While not working on building design, Tom enjoys pranking his friends and colleagues.

Sam Porter
Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter
Sam originates from New Zealand and has been working with BCL as a carpenter since 2013. When he's not on a job site, Sam enjoys being outside, extreme sports and flying planes.
James who moved here from Ireland 4 years ago has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry with over 20 years as a superintendent in Ireland, UK & Canada. He started his career as a Cabinet Maker in Ireland and has worked his way up through the ranks to get to where he is today. He enjoys travelling, boating and playing sport with family and friends in his spare time.
